Best AI tool to build a web app MVP (with login and a database)

A habit tracker. A tiny tool for your Discord community. A "rate my build" site for your game. Anything where people sign in and their stuff gets saved.
The short pick
Lovable — it now comes with Lovable Cloud, a built-in backend: a managed Postgres database, user authentication, storage, and functions, no separate account needed ✅. Login options include email/password, magic links, and social login ✅. If you'd rather own the backend yourself, you can connect your own Supabase project instead ✅ (note: there's no automatic migration between the two, so decide early ✅).
Price: Free to start; Pro from $25/mo ✅. Building and hosting both use credits, so watch your balance.

How to start
- Write the one sentence your app does: "Users can ___ so that ___."
- List your data: what things get saved? (e.g. User, Habit, Check-in). Three tables max for v1.
- Prompt in order — not all at once: (a) pages and layout with fake data, (b) login, (c) real database, (d) one feature at a time.
- After login works, test with a second account: can user B see user A's data? If yes, stop and fix it (ask the AI to "add row-level security so users only see their own rows").
- Ship to five friends before adding anything else.
